A Pastor's Thoughts on Date Night

November 7, 2018

Even though Kelly and I have raised our four children and now they are starting families of their own (can’t wait to be a grandpop!), I still remember having young children and not much money to get a babysitter. We had three kids in three years! When one of our parents or a dear friend offered to give us a night off for ourselves without kids, we were so grateful.

There are so many great things that happen around Grace Point during the holiday season, but here is one I am so excited about: Pam Cherubino and our GP children’s ministry is offering those families with young children (babies-5th grade) a night out without kids. Couples can go out for holiday shopping, have a candlelight dinner, or go home to a house full of quiet.

On Friday, November 30 from 6-8:30 pm, GP Kids is hosting P3 — Popcorn, Pizza, and Pajamas.  The event is free, but space is limited so reserve your spot today at www.gracepoint.cc/p3
