There is a simple message at the core of our ministry here. It is the message that the Christian life is not a moral code or a religious system, but a person living inside of a person.
In a world filled with anxiety, greed, weariness, sorrow and death, we are looking to the power of a resurrected Jesus Christ to live in us, and be our supernatural source of peace, love, strength, joy, and life. Drawing on the resources of another to be in us what we could never be on our own is the essence of Christianity, and living this out in reality makes Christianity a great adventure indeed.
Grace Point Community Church is a purpose-driven church. This means that we strive to focus on the God given purposes for the church as clearly revealed by Jesus. With every man, women and youth we will devote our lives to fulfilling the following five purposes:
- Belonging (developing relationships)
- Growing (growing spiritually)
- Serving (giving back in service)
- Sharing (sharing the Good News)
- Worshipping (worshipping God)
These purposes bring glory to God and meet the deepest needs that we all have. Belonging gives us people to live with, growing gives us principles to live by, serving gives us a profession to live out, sharing gives us a purpose to live for and worshipping gives us a power to live on.
